What’s BCAT?
BCAT is a weekend long celebration of all things clay! It will comprise of local artists, studios, galleries, and businesses across the borough, opening their doors to the public for a variety of exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, artist talks, and ceramic sales.
Inspired by the success of the 2017 and 2018 Brooklyn Clay Tour, BCAT’s mission is to promote Brooklyn as a diverse and growing ceramics community, one where everyone is welcomed to learn about clay, experience it first-hand, and support the ceramic arts.
Our hope is that BCAT 2023, will create the foundation for an on-going annual tour, one that will continue to honor the ceramic arts, while evolving and growing with Brooklyn, and the artists that live and work here.
